Members of Steamfitters Local #353 are the most highly trained, productive, skilled and safety conscience workforce available in the commercial, residential, industrial piping and HVACR industry.

We take pride in training our members both during their 5 year apprenticeship and with continuing education classes for our Journeymen members.

Some of our classes include foreman training, the true cost of a man hour, OSHA 10 & 30, certified signal man, certified rigging, valve repair certification, multiple welding and brazing certifications, UA star HVACR certification and Pipefitter certification just to name a few.

We also have the ability to do “just in time training” to meet any specific needs, process or skillset needed by our end users. Our members fund all of our training and we rely on no public money. We are dedicated to ensuring a safe, reliable and highly skilled workforce to meet the demands of the piping and HVACR industry in the greater Peoria area.
